My parents moved a lot while I was small, and I haven't really stopped traveling since. Born in England, I grew up in New Zealand, am sort of South African, and studied in New York. I'm not very good at staying still.

Hiked for five days through South Africa's Cederberg Wilderness Area in raging summer heat: we slept under the stars, followed leopard tracks, and saw no other people.
