Overview
About Me
I'm an outgoing, happy girl who loves to travel - mostly by myself meeting new people. I like to be active in the daytime and mostly sleep in the nighttime and be ready for a new day. When I travel (and when I'm home for that matter) I enjoy playing board games, drinking wine (due to the taste, not the percentages), reading books in cafés while drinking a café latté or maybe trying something local, different and interesting.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I've grown up! I'm not into hostels anymore... I really enjoy the social aspect, I'm just not too keen on the whole falling asleep in cigaret smoke from the terrace to the beats of a base as if White Sensation was just next door. It's not that I don't enjoy partying - I do! I've just come to terms with why I'm travelling. I do it to experience different cultures, see new parts of the world and discover how different the nature is in different parts of the world. ...and that just doesn't include raveparties for me anymore :)
Interests
I've been very active at different student organisations at my university, trying to create a better social student environment. I care about health and in that combination also healthy food and working out. I ski every winter season and travel Europe as a tour guide every summer. I've started surfing about two years ago, and am still trying to get a hang of that :)

Music, Movies, and Books
I like dancehall music, RomCom movies and books that'll get me to reflect on the way I live my life.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've bungy jumped of a totally random bridge in Guatamala... 11 people, same elastic for everyone. No cares as to weights or anything. We had to wait between each jump, to make sure the boats were clear from the water though! :O When the jump was done (and it was awesome!) I was drawn up by the men connecting a wire to a car, that drove down the bridge, dragging me up. That's what I love about travelling - you somehow become care free, and don't nescesarily consider the risks of the things you're doing. Which I think is important once in a while...
Countries I’ve Visited
