I am from Ontario and have done a fair bit of worldly traveling that has only made me want more. I plan to find someway to work and travel (everyones goal, I know) and basically make enough money to get everywhere I want to see. I have been in college the past 3 years and did more learning outside of the classroom from the people that I met than I did in the classes. Love meeting new people and hearing/ learning as much as I can.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am on couchsurfing because I love the community and opportunities that it creates. I have not yet partaken in any part of it but look forward to doing so! I plan to host in the future when I have a solid place of my own, but for now hope that people will open their homes for me to surf! I think it's a great way to travel and see sights from people that live in the city rather than the average tourists eye. I will definitely be looking for suggestions while coming through your city.

Interests

I have many many interests and I've realized that I just love learning about things. I love when people tell me about things they are passionate about and when others get excited to show me stuff, it excites me!
My main interests I guess would be nature & outdoors stuff. I love the sun & the moon. I will never learn enough about the ocean & get shocked daily by new facts. I love biking everywhere. Very interested in the environment and restoration, preserving what we've got left.
I enjoy cooking for myself and others.
I love taking pictures, kinda goes along with traveling and sightseeing, I want to remember the sights I see :D But sometimes, the moments you can't get a picture of are the best ones because nobody else will be able to experience it in a way that you did. I just got a GoPro camera that I'm trying to figure out how to use to its full potential. I'm not great with computers, so I can take the videos but don't know what to do with them yet.

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy Netflix & reading for times that I can't be outside. I love shows like That 70s Show, The Mindy Project, Dr Who.. that's all that comes to mind right now sorry. Love comedy and have gotten into thrillers, hate gore, don't like seeing people be tortured in any way.
I like lots of music, but my fav would be classic rock. I have over 4000 songs on my iPod if you cant find one you like that's on you, not me :p
I like to read pretty much anything, sometimes read to learn and make me smarter but sometimes read for fun & to get away. Recent reads include The Prince of Venice Beach and The Timekeeper. I always have something checked out at the library.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I didn't go on a roller coaster until I was 20 years old and went on my first water slide when I turned 21.. Turning 22 this summer and looking for a new experience. One amazing thing I have done is the EdgeWalk on the CN Tower in Toronto, did it & didn't tell anyone until I got back home.
I want my life to be a collection of cool stories (with pictures in case I forget, I don't have great memory)

Teach, Learn, Share

I would be willing to teach any thing anyone wants to know about anything in my life. I never get annoyed answering questions about vegetarianism (no matter how repetitive). I know how to cook a wide variety of things, and am great at improvising. I am money saving savvy for shopping, cooking and traveling on a budget and finding ways to get the bang for your buck.
I can TOTALLY teach tie dye because it is the only form of art I can create. I love helping others create and wear the art that they have made :)
I want to learn anything you are willing to share! Literally; cooking, experiences, language, yoga, technology, cool facts, I will always listen.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share many stories and talk forever if you'd like, but will always respect privacy. Would have no problem cooking & eating meals together. All depends on your comfort level.
