About Me

Hi everyone! I used to run the marketing for a competitor of Pret-a-Manger (think salads, smoothies and superfoods) but I quit my London job to travel around Australia. I'm now back in the UK in the brilliant city of Bristol working for the wonderful Pukka (herbal tea). Although I still have very itchy feet so I'm travelling whenever I can.

I am sweet, indecisive, quirky and fascinated by the world. Lover of food, walking, live music and taking in as many of the sights, sounds and taste of new places.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love meeting new people. I believe that even the most 'boring' person in the world has a story to tell and I so enjoy learning people's stories. The world is such a fascinating place and to be able to travel around it meeting the locals along the way is for me the perfect way to travel.

Interests

Food: I really appreciate food and don't think I could list my favourites, let's just say the thought of porridge gets me out of bed in the morning and I look forward to every meal!

I have a big appreciation for nature and art - I enjoy surrounding my senses and really taking in moments of my day.

Music, Movies, and Books

TV: Black Books, Peep Show, This is England, Cardinal Burns, IT Crowd, gripping BBC dramas and I enjoy a good documentary from time to time

Films: The Grand Budapest Hotel, Atonement, Into the Wild, American Beauty, Short Term 12, The Danish Girl

Music: I know everyone says it, but for me it's a bit of everything. However short a walk, I will have my MP3 on and I love hearing music live

Teach, Learn, Share

I love to learn - I write down what I have learnt at the end of each day as a sort of alternative diary. Whilst I don't feel I have that much to offer in terms of teaching I give what I can and enjoy shared experiences and trying new things.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Fascination and a lot of appreciation for their time and energy!
