ABOUT ME

Okay, so here are the basics. I'm 23 years old and currently living in Edinburgh (a seriously cool city by the way). I've just finished university, so I'm now free to deal with the "real world". Currently just focusing on amassing some funds for the many wonderful adventures that I intend to have.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Sheltering weary travellers from the bleak Scottish weather. Possibly subjecting them to my sometimes questionable tastes in music. Depends how lucky you are. Haha.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My only couchsurfing experiences to date are the three that I have from my trip to Central America. They were all great hosts though and I will undoubtedly continue to couchsurf in future.

Interessen

Language learning, belly dancing, cello, violin, bodhran, listening to music of every genre, reading everything I can get my hands on, cycling (I cycle everywhere), galavanting through woods, up hills, in rivers etc.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

Music - Too many to list, but here's a few to give you a rough idea. AC/DC, Azam Ali, Balkan Beat Box, Beats Antique, Belzebass, Bob Marley, Daniel Waples, Dresden Dolls, Flux Pavilion, Katzenjammer, Led Zeppelin, Loreena McKennit, Ludovico Einaudi, Machine Head, Mumford and Sons, Mungo's Hi-Fi, Niyaz, Noisia, Parov Stelar, Peatbog Faeries, RATM, Rise Against, Saxon, Shpongle, Skid Row.

Movies - I'm not that much of a movie buff. Most of the films being released these days are utter guff. If I'm watching anything, it's probably going to be a foreign film or a well-known classic.

Books - There is never a moment where I don't have a book on the go. A few amazing ones that I can remember off the top of my head are Les Miserables, The Alchemist, Philip Pullman's His Dark Materials, anything by Tolkein (duh!), or anything by Oscar Wilde. Again, I do quite like my classics.

I'm left amazed by the tiniest things on a daily basis. Just keep your eyes open and you'll be sure to see them.
