About Me
ABOUT ME
I am commonly described as 'the quiet type' but don't let this deceive you into thinking that I am not fun. I am definitely open-minded (hence the travels), and I aim to try everything I possibly can when I'm travelling. Books, travel, music, history, politics and languages are some of my favourite topics of conversation.
Interests
The above: I love to read, but come night time I would definitely prefer strobe lights to book lamps (or at least that smokey mood lighting they tend to have in pubs). I also love food, and as I'm travelling around Europe I'm making it my mission to try the 'regional dish' wherever I go. It is perhaps not coincidental that so much of my time will be spent in France, then, where pastries are everywhere the specialty. God bless you, France.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The sheer amount of lederhosen at Oktoberfest this year definitely left me awestruck; my travels through Kenya as a volunteer a few years ago opened my eyes to a world that I could never have imagined existed; and standing on top of the empire state building at midnight, looking over New York City (greatest city in the world) was pretty damn breathtaking. I am always stricken with awe when my taste buds come into contact with delicious French pastries. Pure magic.
