Overview
About Me
I'm 28, married and always looking for adventure and I find people fascinating. The small lady on the far right of the photos. I love learning about other peoples' point of view. Also, food makes me happy. I'm an ex police officer, which always results in interesting conversations from different political backgrounds. I currently work for Royal Mail. My long term ambition is to travel the world, couch surfing to get at the heart of each culture. My husband's a cognitive behavioural therapist and loves to help people. New to couch surfing but heard great things about the people you meet along the way...
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
We're looking forward to learning about different cultures and views, to expand our horizons by being hosts now we have our own place.
Interests
I like to stay active with cycling, hiking, wandering around new cities on foot. I do this exercise so I can eat more.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've ran the Dublin marathon in 3:42 and cycled from John O Groats to Lands End in 6days in gale force winds with the amazing support of my husband as support vehicle. So far, raised £28000 for charity.
Teach, Learn, Share
We're learning Spanish, at the embarrassing beginning of our journey with this beautiful language.
What I Can Share with Hosts
We have a spare bedroom with a blow up double bed and one couch. We are 10min walk from Eastleigh station or 20 drive/10 train from Winchester/Southampton. We're also 30minute walk to Southampton Airport, though we'd probably pick you up in 10.
Countries I’ve Visited
Belgium, France, Germany, Hungary, Iceland, Italy, Kenya, Luxembourg, Netherlands, New Zealand, Poland, Portugal, Scotland, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Thailand, United States, Wales
