ABOUT ME

I don’t tend to do things by halves, and on a spur of the moment decision I decided I would like to travel to the USA solo to have an adventure. Being an art freak, New York is a given place to go…the museums.. I also have a secret (now not so secret) with Gone With The Wind, thus my reason for wanting to visit the Southern states. I also love sunshine, so California is a natural choice! I plan to go in October, for 3 weeks, so I’m busy saving and planning. I was considering staying in hostels in dormitories, as even though I’m travelling alone, I LOVE meeting people, going out, having a few wines, and just generally being sociable, happy, and having laughs!

PHILOSOPHY

In the midst of major life transitions at the moment, it’s been quite amazing actually, learning new things every day. Living alone is good for the soul! Family & friends are even better for the soul, and wow, I am so blessed to have who I have in my life at the minute..

I am a huge ambassador of NZ music, I can't stand tall-poppy syndrome... I appreciate ambition, talent, creativity and enthusiasm.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I volunteered at an animal shelter in Ubud, Bali for a week. It was heartbreaking but heartening.
