Hi there! I'm a long-term traveller and digital nomad from Cape Town, South Africa. I left my home in 2017 to work and travel in Southeast Asia, and then met my Dutch partner and have been travelling with him since 2018 :) We lived in Tbilisi for half a year in 2019 and were able to host many couchsurfers during that time, which was such fun! I'm now in SE Asia again, hopping around slowly in my favourite region of the world.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on Couchsurfing because I believe in a global community of sharing and supporting each other. I also just enjoy meeting people from different walks of life and expanding my circle of friends in different places! The people that I've met through Couchsurfing have been some of the most heartfelt connections that I've made, so I feel this app can be a great filter to find true gems :)

Interests

Deep chats are as enjoyable as light hearted banter for me, so sharing insights, stories, hobbies and dreams while also being able to make jokes is a great joy.

I'm fascinated with human nature, psychology, spirituality and society and love all forms of creativity and artistic expression.

Film photography, hiking, camping, boardgames, writing, reading, painting, herbal medicine, permaculture farming, natural building, yoga, meditation and alternative living are things that interest me the most.

My dream is to have a small piece of land with a food forest and to build my own tiny house earthship. And then build other cosy spaces to host others and have workshops and other cool events! Van life is also a dream for nearer in the future 💚
