About Me

CURRENT MISSION

My mission in life is to travel non-stop for a few years. Unfortunately, that doesn't seem to be in the cards any time soon, so I'm living vicariously through those that are traveling, while trying to escape Phila as frequently as possible.

ABOUT ME

Very easy going, love meeting new people, spend a lot of time laughing and smiling!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I love hosting travelers on their way through Philadelphia or would be happy to answer any questions about the region. I'd love to meet some of you when I'm traveling as well!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've never used this site before, but I'm an old pro at meeting up with friends and acquaintances around the world- you can never have too many friends!

Interests

traveling (duh), rock climbing, ultimate frisbee, reading, napping, hiking, animal rescue and rehab, cooking, eating, anything outdoors with my pup (including jogging which i would never do without her), the list goes on and on...

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm a total eclectic when it comes to movies, music, and books. I love all three!

Movies: anything without huge plot holes. I love good horror, science fiction, and fantasy films, especially old ones. I love intelligent comedies and am a sucker for chick flicks when I'm bored. Favorite movies include everything from "my name is nobody" and "butch cassidy and the sundance kid" to "the city of lost children" and from "true romance" to "terminator" and "alien". I recently fell in love with "the lives of others" and have seen "the princess bride" at least 12 times.

Music: Also all over the place- from country to 80's to hard rock to punk/indie... I'm a new fan of www.pandora.com.

Books: I LOVE reading! before grad school i read a lot more non-fiction, now when i get the chance to read, i usually pick something fiction. Favorite authors include Ray Bradbury, Carl Hiasson, and Haruki Murakami.
