Overview
About Me
Hello! I’m Tadayoshi, a 39-year-old Japanese traveler currently residing in Cyberjaya, Malaysia. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of immersing myself in diverse cultures by living in New Zealand for 4 years for student, Pakistan for 3 years for diplomacy, and now embracing my 2nd year in Malaysia for IT company. My travels have taken me to incredible destinations including New Zealand, Fiji, Pakistan, UAE, Greece, Turkey, Maldives, Taiwan, Vietnam, Thailand, and, Malaysia,USA.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I believe that the heart of travel lies in the connections we make and the stories we share. Couchsurfing offers a unique platform to foster genuine relationships, exchange cultural insights, and create unforgettable memories. I’m here to both host and be hosted, to learn from others, and to offer a glimpse into my own culture and experiences.
Interests
• Culinary Adventures: I love exploring local cuisines and cooking traditional Japanese dishes. Let’s have a cooking exchange!
• Music & Arts: From traditional performances to contemporary art scenes, I’m always eager to delve into the artistic expressions of different cultures.
• Outdoor Activities: Hiking, cycling, and exploring nature trails are among my favorite pastimes.
Languages
• Japanese (Native)
• English (Fluent)
• Indonesian (Intermediate) – Currently learning and eager to practice!
Travel Experiences
My journey has taken me across various countries, allowing me to embrace the uniqueness each place offers. From the serene landscapes of New Zealand to the historic sites of Greece and Turkey, each experience has enriched my perspective and understanding of the world.
Hosting Availability
Currently, I reside in a cozy apartment in Cyberjaya, Malaysia. While the space is modest, I can comfortably accommodate one guest. Previously, due to tyoical circumstances in Japan, I couldn’t host travelers, but now I’m excited to open my home to fellow Couchsurfers. Owning a car gives me the flexibility to take guests on trips to nearby attractions and lesser-known spots.
Exploring Putrajaya
Living close to Putrajaya, I highly recommend exploring this beautifully planned city. One of the highlights is the Putrajaya Lake Cruise, which offers a unique perspective of the city’s stunning architecture, including the iconic Pink Mosque (Putra Mosque) and the Prime Minister’s Office. Cruising on the serene lake, you’ll feel as if you’ve been transported to a picturesque European setting.
