About Me

Every person has a long story to share, but mine will be short. You will learn more when we meet in person :)

For a start,
I am Steph, a born backpacker. I daydream of exploring the corners of the world. What I offer is good company, some adventure, many jokes and (rarely) pieces of wisdom.

I recently graduated as a physio from a uni in the Netherlands. I lived and worked in sunny Las Palmas, GC, throughout the last 5 months and it has been a fantastic experience. Now I am wandering around Europe.
I try to expand my knowledge in different areas every day. Until now, I found out the greatest way to do that is meeting new people, which leads to my next section:

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To meet you.
I'd love to hear the stories you have (and want to share) and see the beautiful area you live in!

And of course, find a comfy couch to crash on.

Unfortunately, due to my "no home" situation, I cannot host anybody at the moment.

Nevertheless, I'm always up for a beer and good laugh.

Music, Movies, and Books

I am quite a versatile person when it comes to all movies, music and books.

As for movies - I cannot watch them without company. When I'm by myself I enjoy watching documentaries covering aspects of life, humanity and nature. Also movies about gangsters and psychedelics. :D Some examples that left a trace in me are 'Baraka', 'Human', 'Planet Earth' (8 mini episodes, love them!) and 'My name is Khan' (not a documentary).

I like reading about spirituality, religion, alternative medicine and lifestyles. If you have any suggestions for good books, don't hesitate to write me a quick message with recommendation. Fantasy is also cool.

I can't define myself as a fan of a certain genre of music, let's just say I love good music. From Italian opera to 80's Compton gangsta rap and from Cuban tunes to Russian dubstep. So not too much you can mess up there.
