ABOUT ME
I am quite calm and reserved person. I like both to listen and talk about the wide variety of subjects. Exploring the fabric of societal rules and conventions fascinates me, so sometimes I may raise some uncomfortable topics.
I am idealistic, romantic, quick thinker, I love challenges. I love to sleep like there is no tomorrow; listen to smokey jazz that melts the structure of reality around you; watch films that inspire you to abandon whatever you have or plunge your psyche into dark abyss; read good books that make you to forget to eat, drink or whatever promises and obligations you had to meet; do some creative thinking.
I might be quite brush and unreliable, though I really try to mend those parts of my personality.
I like to travel and hate feeling like a tourist. Unfortunately, I rarely travel nowadays due to the workload.
PHILOSOPHY
O universo sempre conspire a favor de quem quer realizar um sonho

Music, Movies, and Books
I regularly watch films of different kind: old and new, famous and obscure, documentary and unrealistic, boring and breathtakingly exciting, complex and simple, short and long.
Some favourite directors of mine are: Ernst Lubitsch, Alain Resnais, Kim Ki-duk, Paul Thomas Anderson, Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu, Jose Padilha, Wes Anderson
Mostly my playlist consists of indie, jazz, bossanova, pop, jazzy hip-hop records.
As I grow older I listen more and more to jazz and experimental electronic music, also modern classical. Many musicians only release one or two good albums, so the names of artists I listen to are constantly in flux.
Lambchop is probably the greatest band you never heard about, here is your chance:

Books: Kundera, Murakami, Pavic, Pynchon, Barnes, various history and anthropology books.
Roberto Bolano and Karl Ove Knausgård were the most influential writere for me in the last couple of years. Granta magazine is a great source of new writing. Marginal revolution is my favourite blog. I try to read science papers daily, mostly in neuroscience and psychology.
I try to keep track on what books I read, not very diligently though and I put them on Booktracker app on my Facebook. I started it long time ago and since there is no automatic exporting feature to Goodreads, I cannot effectively share what I am reading and I am too lazy to migrate.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Making a rat giggle, but actually every moment is amazing and I do not reflect much on what are best or most amazing. Really, I have no idea. I do not try to make a history. I do not like taking pictures or keep diary either, if something fades from my mind with the passage of time, there is the next breath to take.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you many things psychology, some neuroscience, semiotics, Estonian, Russian languages
