About Me

Hey there kind stranger,

"I am Deekshita. You can call me Kit."
And I am Apoorv. You can call me Apoorv 'cause let's face it, there are tougher names out there. Kit definitely seems to think so.
"Sure, as if you have ever been able to pronounce Deekshita. So.. (eyeroll)"
She seems to think we are a couple.
"Says the one who introduces me as his girlfriend but you know.. whatever keeps afloat your boat."

I am an up and coming screenwriter. And she is a student of uh.. some tech stuff.
"Data Science, you dumbass.. He's the guy for whom we had to invent smartphones."

Ok, I will shut up now.
"Thanks, now let me do the honours. We are very chill, he likes his football, I like F1. Sometimes they coincide, and he is kind enough to give preference to my races! We like long conversations over hot coffee and cinnamon rolls. We are extremely eager to share them with you too! We have a never ending debate on Friends vs The Office. But I let him win. ;) We are super excited to move to the US and host tons of cool hoomans, and doggos! :P"

Kit will be moving to Durham, NC and I will be moving to Los Angeles, CA, this August. As couchsurfing hosts, we will soon update our profile with more pics and details, for your potential accommodation. We are LGBTQA and 420 friendly. We will do our best to cook you edible meals and accompany you on your excursions. :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

"To find this dumbass, a friend. I am so done with his dumb poetic bullshit."

For real though, we understand, as travelers, how big a difference staying in, with local non-commercial hosts can make to a backpacking trip, especially if you're not privy to local culture. We are here to make your, and in turn our own, travelling experience, a quantum more wholesome and better. :)

As they say, we travel, initially, to lose ourselves; and we travel, next to find ourselves. We hope we continue to do so. :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Got enough wasted while partying and club-hopping one weekend evening, in Karlsruhe, a German town, that I ended up with no memory and a completely new and unrecognisable set of friends after I woke up next noon. I know, its basic, but you know.. sort of still counts as one of the crazy experiences I have had, credit to this website so.. 😁

What I Can Share with Hosts

We come bearing two gifts! A bottle of wine and a meal, that we offer to cook, in your kitchen, for dinner. :)

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Belgium, Bhutan, France, Germany, India, Italy, Netherlands, Switzerland
