About Me

My current mission is to find peace in my heart, mind and soul, and to help other people achieving this too somehow.

I'm a woman, a daughter, a friend, a student, a worker, an artist, an intellectual and an explorer who wants to travel as much as possible and meet nice and significant persons around the world when doing so. People that can teach me new lessons about everything and anything - life, and vice versa.

I like to walk on the moon, imagination, to write about the void, orchids, to lie down in the grass, music, to climb mountains, books, to dig mysteries, photography, to cook and eat, blue, to listen to whispers, respect, to live for a second, rock'n'roll, to dance among the trees, strawberries, to talk under the stars, emptiness, to admire the desert beauty, love.

PHILOSOPHY

You can only start to know yourself through experiences, discovering that among all the differences, there's none and we're all the same. Humans.

Le doute est ma seule vérité.

The intuitive mind is a sacred gift and the rational mind is a faithful servant. We have created a society that honors the servant and has forgotten the gift. - Albert Einstein

"[...] si vous désirez regarder les choses comme elles sont, vous ne devez point regarder à côté, vous ne devez point vous concentrer sur leurs à-côtés. Il vous faut fixer les choses et évincer, autant que faire se peut, tout ce qui relève de leur enchevêtrement réciproque." - Jung, 1962

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My first experience with CS was in 2008 when I went to Morocco and it was fantastic! It permits us to meet new people, discover their culture and the way they think and live for a moment.
I also used CS for some ulterior travels, and each time, I had the chance to meet extraordinary people in every country where I travelled this way.

Overall, I like the CS experience for the exchange of culture that it makes enable and for all the new encounters and interesting discussions that it allows me and the others to have. In a way, it makes us all grow.

Even if it has been a while since I used CS, I want to travel this way again through Canada and the USA this summer. To connect with people. To share words and laughters. To discover these countries differently.

Interests

I'm interested in many subjects linked to psychology, philosophy, politics, international cooperation and the environment. Right now, I'm studying how climate change and the environmental degradation surrounding us have an impact on our psychological health and our well-being, besides all the consequences that this reality has on our physical health. Resilience, ecological grief and ecoanxiety - solastalgia - are subjects - realities - that I study for my research.

But not only.

I also like to travel, discover new cultures and meet interesting people. I love art, books, good conversations, nature, yoga, dance, poïs, rope dart, meditation, music, philosophy and peace.

-

I profoundly think that every person on this planet should be - or at least try to be - curious about everything that surrounds us and try to learn new things - small or big - everyday of his/her life.. Not just for the aim of being more cultivated, but also in order to grow up as a better person for themselves, for the others around and for the Earth.
