Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have been travelling for many moons and have met some wonderful people. Often they talk to me about couch surfing. I am convinced it is a marvellous forum for like minded people to see places they may not have been able to afford.
Or at the very least make sure folk are kept warm if caught short for a night or two.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I recently delivered a yacht around the east coast of Australia that was pretty good fun.

Teach, Learn, Share

I once had an idea along with a group of friends for an education body that encompassed much of what couch surfing it about.
We called it The School of General Excellence.
Everyone is excellent at something and generally wants to be excellent at something else. So we became a band of roving educators and students. All hierarchies were abolished and the teachers became students and vice versa. It was a sharing extravaganza.

I went on to teach English and diving and a little guitar and learnt to sail and operate some heavy machinery. All while touring with music bands or helping run festivals.

I love to learn, teach and share.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can cook, play music, share some music and give comprehensible IT advice.
