About Me

CURRENT MISSION

fighting for human and non-human animal rights

ABOUT ME

My boyfriend and I are both experts in English and German. He's the one however who grew up additionally speaking Slovenian.

I met two couch surfers whilst in Gainesville and while I knew the idea and have participated in couch surfing inside of the activism scene I did not know this site already. What a great way to organize the process and get in touch and help some people that you otherwise might not get into contact with!

PHILOSOPHY

"Freedom is the right to tell people what they do not want to hear”

—George Orwell

“Cowardice asks the question, ‘Is it safe?’
Expediency asks the question, ‘Is it politic?’
Vanity asks the question, ‘Is it popular?’
But conscience asks the question, ‘Is it right?’

And there comes a point when one must take a position that is neither safe, nor politic, nor popular, but one must take it because one’s conscience tells one that it is right.”

-Martin Luther King, Jr.

“They who can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety.”

-Benjamin Franklin
