About Me

ABOUT ME

Spent some time in Tanzania on my GAP year and travelled around. Slept on some sofas, met some fascinating people and always appreciated the great hospitality. Currently travelling the World and have met some cool people using Hangouts :)

I'm a psychiatric nurse and have just moved to Australia to travel and work. Spent some time in Vietnam living and working at a hostel on Cat Ba Island.

Appreciate a good brewski. Definitely pubs over clubs! Usually a social butterfly but also can't beat Netflix and chill days

PHILOSOPHY

Never lost, just mis-directed. Never give up, success is just around the corner.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Never had a bad experience hosting with Couch Surfing. Still keep in touch with some wonderful people. It's a great little community. Hosted a lot with my parents and now that I have flown nest, looking to continue the great experiences!!

Interests

Love travelling. Scotland has so much to offer! Long drives to Loch Lomond and Trossachs. Some great local breweries round Glasgow. We walked the West Highland Way in May this year. 100 miles from Milngavie to Fort William, I highly recommend this experience to anyone, some spectacular views of the Scottish Highlands.

Music, Movies, and Books

Okay, too little time to fill this in. Music is my life. Love everything from punk to contemporary orchestra to electric.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Spent three months in Tanzania. Lived in a mud hut.

Survived a snake bite in Viet Nam and crashed a motorbike in the same week 🙈

Walked the West Highland Way in 2017, some fantastic views of the Scottish Highlands. A must do for avid hikers!

Teach, Learn, Share

Love to show folk around. Lovely sights in Glasgow inc Art Galleries, Glasgow University, Byers Road, great pubs and can also drive upto Loch Lomond and Trossachs.
