ABOUT ME

I grew up in rural Kentucky. I've always loved traveling and plan to continue to do so for the rest of my life. I'm in the Communications field in Dayton Oh. I'm very clean and organized. I love the outdoors and I love new adventures.

I grew up in a rural part of Northern Kentucky, USA but I don't have the small town mentalitiy I think. I'm very open minded and open to different cultures. I am the middle child of three kids and have a big extended family that I love to hang with.

I'm still new to surfing but I've heard nothing but good things so I'm excited to try it out. I'm pretty laid back but love to have a good time when possible.

Currently I'm still trying to figure out what to do with my life. Whether I should go back to school, move, or just see where my feet take me. (being a grown up is harder than I thought)

Loves: the outdoors, italian food, great movies, my pets, the show The Office, a good book, have fun and try new things, good drinks and good friends.

Hates: People who are lazy, the show lost (sorry I just don't get it), grape and banana flavoring (yuck).

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm planning a trip to Europe. I heard of this website and thought I would give it a shot for my big trip. My boyfriend and I will be all over Europe throughout June and if you have any good suggestions please feel free to pass them on. I can't offer my couch at the moment but I would love to meet up with any CSers in the Dayton or Cincy area.

As a traveler it depends on where I am as to what I will want to do. If I'm in a new place that I've never been to and will most likely not be visiting again soon, I like to see and experience as much as possible. If I'm somewhere that I've been a lot and will go back to a lot then I tend to take it easy.

Also, I would be happy to meet up with anyone passing through Cincy or Dayton. I can't offer a couch at this point but I will update this as my avaibility changes.

I haven't had any experience but I'm hoping to soon (this June 09).

Music, Movies, and Books

ohhh wow that's a huge question to answer. I love a lot of movies and music and I'm always looking for new things to watch/listen to. Some of my faves would have to be:
Movies/TV: The Sting, The OC, Buffy, Sex and the City, Moulin Rouge, How I met your mother, Hot Fuzz, Paris Je'tem, Heros, Chuck, The Office, 30 Rock, the list goes on and on.
Music: DMB, Katy Perry, Jason Mraz, Jack Johnson, any and all musicals, KT Tunstall and again the list goes on and on.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've had a lot of different experiences, whether it's been from friends or jobs,or travels I've seen and experienced a lot. I've been to the southern most bakery in the US (in HI), I've driven to another country (canada) just to say I've been out of the states, I've had my hair dyed red, brown, black, blue, pink, orange, blonde, and probably some others, I've worked a million different jobs and feel like I've lived about 5 lives. The only thing that is constant is that red heads ALWAYS have more fun!

Teach, Learn, Share

I would like to learn more about other cultures. I've never traveled or had much experience outside of the states and I would love to change that. I know a fair amount about med, nature, tech, and a few other random things so ask and I will answer if I know it.
One day I hope to learn French and Italian.
