Hi there!

I'm a couch-surfing first-timer who has always heard good things, so here I am checking it out for myself!

I'm an English Teacher who does a little voice acting on the side, currently residing in the amazing city of Shanghai, where I have lived for just over a year and a half.

I would call Brighton in England 'home' but believe home can be anywhere you rest your romp. I once called a luxury cruise ship home for a bizarre 12 months where I lived, selling art and exploring various cities across the world.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have just joined Couchsurfing as I'll be visiting Hong Kong as a solo traveler, and thought it would be a great way to make some friends and get some good advice about what there is to see and do and eat (and where to turn up, of course!)

Music, Movies, and Books

Oh so hard to summarize..

Recently I have been listening to Anderson .Paak, Travis Scott, dvsn, returning to old favorites like Fela Kuti, Ian Brown, Erykah Badu, Bjork... I'll listen to and get excited about all kinds of music and can become obsessed with an artist until I've Googled the hell out of them and could write their autobiography.

Usually have a couple of books on the go. Currently reading Charlie Chaplin's autobiography. One of my favourites is Shantaram.
