Overview
About Me
One trip, two siblings, three weeks. An epic journey through the United States of America with nothing but their wits, a rented car and the dream to sleep on as many American couches as humanly possible in three weeks.
About us:
Kitty Kardolus: Older (by 1.5 years) and wiser sister, professional translator.
Loves cooking, traveling, dancing and fitness. Think twice about switching to Spanish or Italian for gossip, because she also understands that. Try Inuit.
Tinus Kardolus: Younger (by 1.5 years) brother, illustrator/animator/musician.
Loves music, drawing, longboarding and whales. Don’t worry about gossiping with this one, he’s easily distracted. Ocasionally amusing.
What’s in it for you?
-Everlasting friendship.
-Dutch snacks.
-A chance to observe Dutch siblings out of their normal habitat.
-Everything you wanted to know about how to pronounce words like ‘Scheveningen, goedemorgen, graftakketeringloeders’ and other linguistic treasures.
-Learning the difference between the Dutch and the German (spoiler alert: it’s not that much).
-Drawings you can sell for a buttload of money, or hang on your fridge (why let your children make your fridge-art when you can leave it to a pro)
