ABOUT ME

All my life I've been fascinated by different places and languages, and I've found it impossible to stay still. I love the feeling of living in a foreign environment, the feeling of learning every single day of your life. I strive to keep this feeling no matter where I am.

I love meeting new people, sharing stories, playing music (especially with other people), walking in the mountains or on the beach, talking politics, hearing fresh points of view, climbing, dancing (though I'm terrible at it!) and laughing - laughter is key!

PHILOSOPHY

Never stop learning and growing. Always be open to new people and things. And above all make your life good - for yourself and for others! Live lots, laugh lots.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I had my first few couchsurfing experiences in Granada, Spain in 2009, and they were all positive! I've done a bit of hosting, a bit of surfing, and a bit of hanging out - hoping to do more of all those things!

兴趣

Music - I play guitar, flute, piano and I sing. I love listening to all different kinds of live music, and especially exploring sounds from different parts of the world.
The outdoors - I love climbing, walking, swimming, and anything else that allows me to escape the city and see beautiful natural places. My favourite way to end a day is with a guitar by a campfire :)

The travessia Petrópolis-Teresópolis in Parque Nacional da Serra dos Órgãos in Rio, Brazil. Three days of incredible views, I've never seen anything like it.

Looking 1km straight down off the edge of Half Dome in Yosemite, California. What a feeling!
