About Me

Hi everyone!!

We are Kit and Nagi - Japanese and Australian couple always keen to discover, share and explore the world. Travelling in Asia at the moment :)

Being personally, socially and environmentally aware is pretty important to us - we are fully vaccinated and always try to protect the vulnerable people around us.

No better aim than to learn new ways or to teach what we know wherever we end up.

No problems being really independent or sharing closely with others (our last home had 9 housemates...)

Tell us about you too!

We aim to:

Be generous.
Be inquisitive.
Be aware of our strengths and weaknesses.
Learn from and challenge society.

... and to try our best to take care of each-other, the world and the future.

Awww! World-love.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Hosting, advising, dragging you to the beach, here for questions about wherever and whatever :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Well, we've been members of the Hospitality Club (similar to CS) for almost ten years and have had lots of hosting experience through that.
Always loved having people stay here in Melbourne (city) and it's been awesome taking people out to the family farm in the Yarra Valley.
We've had up to four people stay at any one time - from just one week to more than a month and a half.
Great times and lovely people ;)

Interests

We love music, photography, humanity, history,
Architecture, history, politics, design and art are some other keen interests.
A believer that if you can't host, we can always share favourite places, corners, people or events!

Absolutely adore food and cooking, especially communal feasts! We're vegie, but you don't have to be. We're wanting to compile a flavour book and want to know as much as possible about the cultural development and integration and dissemination of taste. So teach us your knowledge and secrets - WE MUST KNOW!

Musically, we love to explore; from blues and swing jazz to jungle, motown and experimental electronic music - we have few limits but a (hopefully) discerning ear.

We enjoy entertaining interesting discussion and hot debate. Whether about humanity, urban design, literature, music, food, biology, religion, anthropology, psychology, etc.
We also love to quietly sit and simply experience another culture and language; just living and learning.
