ABOUT ME

Though one! Why don't you come and surf my couch or host me on yours so you can find out yourself?

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Host and be hosted! I also like to show the city to my guests and friends. Time permitting taking part in more events and groups would be nice.

Interests

I love travelling! When I'm away, either for work or on holiday, I'm always eager to discover everything the place has to offer and understand the local culture.
I'm also a very keen hiker both in summer and winter, living close to the Alps certainly helps!
I take every chance to go and see bands playing live, Torino is not the world gig capital but you do get interesting acts here and there.

Music, Movies, and Books

Lots of good arty/indie movies, brilliant comedies or dramas. Directors like Lars Von Tries, Wim Wenders, Mike Leigh or Pedro Almodovar are high on the list while I'm definitely not into action or horror movies.

I listen to a lot of indie/alternative music. Radiohead are my long time favorite band but I try to keep up with whatever comes out. Stuff I've been listening to lately includes Noah and the Whale, Midlake, Laura Veirs, Clem Snide, Doves, Jason Lytle, Mono, Micah P. Hinson, The Decemberists, Shearwater, Arctic Monkeys, just to name a few.

Bookwise just give me a good one and I'll read it. Some writers I quite like are Nick Hornby, Kurt Vonnegut, Manuel Vazquez Montalban, Stefano Benni, Philip Roth, Jonathan Coe.
