Kia Ora :) My name is Chrystal I am a happy go lucky person who loves travel, music and meeting people. I have just finished studying Rudolf Steiner education in NZ, and I am now beginning my journey as a teacher in Denmark WA. I am so looking forward to becoming a part of the community! I absolutely love the outdoors, hiking, biking, swimming, snowboarding, surfing and climbing trees :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have couchsurfed in Canada, NZ, and Australia. I always host couchsurfers when I can. The last guy I hosted lived with us for 6 months!

Interests

Music!!! Festivals, concerts, campfire singing. Camping and enjoying all activities outdoors. Snowboarding! Chilling with new and old friends around the bonfire while sharing music, stories and laughs.

Oh and, I love crafts!! I love to knit and crochet- nana huh! :)

Music, Movies, and Books

I love music soooo much! Reggae, folk, DnB, dubstep, rock, blues, old school hip hop...If I was to name them all it would take up the whole page!! My favourite bands of ALL time would have to be Jimi Hendrix, The Doors and Bob Dylan...I am loving folk music at the moment, and this year I hope to learn guitar!

I love to escape in a great book! I go through phases of the genre, I'm always open to suggestions! I loved Celestine Prophecies and The Alchemist. I have read a lot of biographies on my favourite musicians, I love to know the background of the music I am listening to.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

A pod of dolphins swam up to me in the ocean the other day- that was beautiful!!

Teach, Learn, Share

I am learning guitar, ukulele and to surf. And I am willing to share any knowledge/skills I have!

I teach 24 children at the local Steiner school, they also teach me (a lot)!!
