ABOUT ME

I love meeting new people, going on adventures, playing music, drawing, listening to music, watching music, drawing music, and discussing matters of great consequence.

I'm made up mostly of oxygen, carbon and hydrogen. I think I have about four litres of blood.

I wish the world we live in wasn't driven by money, greed and religion.

I am a critical thinker, but also optimistic.

I love science, and believe in evolution.

I tried to do a handstance once, but I did it wrong and ended up just standing upright like normal.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe that to have a healthy and functioning modern day society, we should all treat each other with kindness, compassion and consideration.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I recently got back from a six week trip to the UK and Europe.
I met some amazing people through the couch surfing weekly meet-up in London. Then went on to stay with two different hosts in Prague who were both lovely and very accommodating.
Also spent a fun filled day with a Canadian girl at a theme park in England.
Prior to this, I have met many amazing couch surfers through my good friend Maurice, who has hosted dozens of people.
I love the concept of couch surfing, and I hope to be able to utilise the service more in the future.
I plan to start hosting people as soon as I'm in a position to do so.

Music, Movies, and Books

I prefer well acted and well scripted movies to big budget hollywood blockbusters (though they are not always mutually exclusive).
I don't read a lot but when I do I prefer non fiction and science based stuff, although having just said that I'm reading a great non fiction book at the moment.
I LOVE music, too many different genres and bands to list here though.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Crossing a busy road in Shanghai a few weeks ago. Easily the scariest thing I've done in the last few years.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can play the guitar, and would be happy to give some casual guitar lessons if people were interested.
I am going to start learning German, so I would love someone to help me with that, in return I can help people learn/improve their English.
I could give drawing lessons as well for anyone wanting to get into art.
