About Me

I rarely holiday and sometimes travel, however I am the type of person to quit my job to do something new and challenging on the other side of the world. For me I find this has been the most comprehensive way to get the most out of international experiences. I am not sure what my career is as I enjoy too much variety to dedicate myself to a single specialisation.

I love hospitality and just finished managing a hostel/resort in Guatemala for a year. However, the area of hospitality to really love is inviting guests into my own home, sharing food, and enjoying a drink without making it a job!

My existence is based on excitement, challenge, creating worthy stories. If it sounds like a god idea, and often when it doesn't too - I'm in! If you are ready to get out there and not afraid of life, lets hang and see where it takes us together :-D

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

People are highly social creatures and appear to require the influences of each other. Couchsurfing offers a dynamic that can never be foreseen and even when trying to expect the unexpected, I am continually amazed with the interactions and connections gained through a truly international platform.

I love to inspire, I love to share stories, I love the language barriers, awkwardness, and the excitement of the unknown for what could be around the corner - both good and bad. Lets all live it together!

Interests

My outgoing personality to chase life to the extreme is also hugely matched my a calmness within. My main interests are to enjoy the day in the nature, make sure the body feels it, then rest happily. By nature I am not a big drinker so party hostels do not offer a big draw card for me, but I certainly do love going out with the locals in whichever town I am in. If this means a 7am street food breakfast after a the nightclubs - well so be it.
Some of my favourite days out would be boat, BBQ and the beach, beers and wine to follow then some skinny dipping to finish of the night.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music is easy, bring me something new to listen to. I have been bought up on American Punk, but now enjoy anything with words and instruments. Nothing too heavy and not often impressed with D&B or electronic.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Let the stories flow and you will get the idea.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can share enthusiasm and motivation to explore the unknown. Nothing is too distant or hard if thats what you want to do. Life is easy with the right attitude and beliefs.

What I Can Share with Hosts

When I am hosting I love to dedicate as much time to my guests as possible which is why I do not tend to accept when I am busy. In exchange I like my guests to bring personality, enthusiasm, and a sense of adventure I can envy! I guess when I am surfing, this is what I try to offer.
