ABOUT ME

We are a married couple, Lisa (canadian) and Andy (NZ)who love to travel and meet people. It's not until you are truly lost that you can begin to find yourself. That's why travel is such a big part of life. We have spent the past year travelling and have been looked after by some amazing couch surfers & random individuals out there whom we are forever grateful for! We are now settling(ish) in Christchurch where Andy is working as a geotechnician and I (Lisa) am teaching. We're into the outdoors, cycling, climbing, tramping, multisport etc. We love interesting people and conversations. We have a small 3 room house that we are renting but as many around the world have shown us, it's not the amount of room you have in your house to share but the amount of room you have in your heart, and hopefully we've got a fair amount:)

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We were hosting for two years up in the BOP. We then spent a year travelling and couchsurfed in several places in South East Africa, Israel and Thailand. Now back in Christchurch we are hoping to stay put for a while and can now house people again.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Have hosted many foreign backpackers and have couchsurfed ourselves abroad and within New Zealand. We have met some of our very favourite people in this way.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Hitchiked to and from Swakopmund Namibia, Rode on top of a bus in the mountains in Nepal through a monsoon, watched the sunset in the sandoons, worked on a vineyard in WA,spent time with the people in a childrens home in Nepal, climbed mountains, swam in glacial lakes etc. In beautiful NZ we see amazing things all the time:)
