ABOUT ME

I am a friendly and outgoing person, always keen to see more of this amazing planet. I recently moved to Sydney to start my PhD. It's my dream project, as I work on humpback whales now. I did my degree of vet science in Germany and Switzerland. Followed by lots of travelling and volunteering I currently enjoy living in and exploring Sydney.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I started my couchsurfing experiences in Australia about five years ago. At first I only used it to make new friends. Since then I have done a fair bit of actual couchsurfing. I simply enjoy visiting new places and feeling like I already got a friend there.

Interests

I enjoy nature and being outdoors, especially when spotting wildlife. Travelling and experiencing new cultures is also one of my favorites. I appreciate long conversations with a good portion of philosophy. I also love cooking and baking.
Besides, I love sports and regular exercising. Martial arts and all types of water related activities have always been my favorite. I did Ju Jutsu for many years and still do Escrima that is Phillipino stick fighting. Water-wise I go swimming, snorkelling and scuba diving. Currently I want to learn sailing. I am always pretty keen to try new sports like underwater rugby just recently.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love watching movies. My favorite movie all times is still "True lies" with Arnold Schwarzenegger. However, I do appreciate movies that make me think a little deeper as well.
