ABOUT ME

We are a couple who were exploring some of the world and decided to settle in Munich for a while. Sean has been a tour guide in Munich but now works for an engineering firm, while Adrienne works for a pharmaceutical company. We're relaxed, fun loving and always up for a laugh!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

So far we've mainly surfed and are starting to host people. We also promote CS to our friends.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We've had some great Couchsurfing experiences so far. We stayed with a few people when we were traveling through Asia and loved it. It's such a great way to meet people and get to know more about the city/country/culture than you might otherwise find staying in backpackers, hotels etc. It's also a great way to make new friends.

Sean
Books: Really enjoy a good book with a bent towards Sci-Fi and travel. Authors - Isaac Asimov, Tolstoy, Stephen Donaldson, Arthur C. Clarke...
Music: Kiwi music like Evermore, Breaks Co-Op, Black Seeds. Jazz and hip-hop goes down well but also stuff like Muse, Stone Temple Pilots, Pearl Jam, Machine Head, My Chemical Romance.
Movies: Good ones!

Adrienne
Movies: I don't have any favourites but really enjoy quite a range, from kids cartoons like Shrek and Finding Nemo to documentries such as An Inconvenient Truth.
Music: I looove music, I don't know what I'd do without it. I enjoy The Black Seeds, Fat Freddys Drop, Amy Winehouse, Evermore, Greenday, Fall Out Boy, Timbaland and so much more.
Books: I am an avid reader and am rarely seen without a book to read when there isn't anything else to do. Recently I have read a lot of non-fiction books set in Asia, such as Wild Swans and A Fortune Teller Told Me, but I also enjoy fiction, from historical novels to fantasy.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

A sky full of stars in Opito Bay, Coromandel, NZ. It was just after new years, the moon had set and there were no major sources of lights for miles. It was amazing seeing that number of stars in the sky. Beautiful.

We love to learn about people's different cultures and languages. We really enjoy living in Munich and are keen to show people why we like it here. And, of course we can teach you about Aotearoa (New Zealand).
