ABOUT ME

I love traveling, dancing, and am currently teaching fifth and sixth grade at an awesome charter school. Eventually, I hope to teach abroad, because it would allow me to combine my passions for traveling and teaching. I believe that traveling and immersing yourself in another culture, stepping outside of your comfort zone, is how we grow and gain wisdom. Experiences and making memories is what life's all about.

I've only surfed one time in France, but it was amazing and I love what I've seen of the CouchSurfing community.

I studied abroad throughout Yucatan, Mexico and got to swim with some sweet speckled whale sharks!

Although I am employed as a teacher, I think of myself more as a learner. I learn from my students, my peers, older generations, my parents, strangers...it's amazing how much there is to learn from others if you just sit back and listen.
