Growing up in Toronto, arguably one of the most multicultural cities in the world, I have had the privilege of meeting people from different ethnic backgrounds, learning from their cultural practices and sharing my cultural and personal experiences. While I grew up in Canada, my cultural background is Iranian and I am thankful to have an amazing family who taught me a lot about my heritage and most importantly, my native language of Persian/Farsi. Having 2 cultural identities and speaking 4 languages have allowed me to connect with people from all around the world at a deeper level.

I am passionate about swimming, cycling, playing football (soccer) and I believe sports are a great way to connect with people and breaking language barriers!

I enjoy engaging in new activities and keeping an open mindset to new experiences.

I love going on hikes, spending time in nature (beach, forest, mountains) and connecting with the surrounding geographical landscapes.

I am also an avid fan of restaurant and bar hopping.

I enjoy reading French novels from authors such as Albert Camus, Emile Zola. I like various genres of music, but more specifically Reggaetón, French R and B, Spanish and Arabic hip-hop, Dembow and Baile Funk! Music is a universal language and a great way to find common interests, helping me connect with people from all backgrounds and different walks of life.
