About Me
CURRENT MISSION
An aesthete in the relentless pursuit of truth.
ABOUT ME
Introspective, curious, and ready to take on new adventures and connect with new friends!
PHILOSOPHY
The world is completely different from moment to moment. I believe in living in the present, reevaluating the world around you, changing your mind, and accepting your weaknesses. My favorite quote to sum up my interactions are: "Be kind, for everyone you meet is fighting a hard battle."
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
My first and last couchsurfing experience was the most amazing part of studying abroad. Five friends and I traveled to Santiago de Compostela, Spain, and stayed with the warmest and most inspiring host. He not only made room for all six of us in his gorgeous home, but he made us feel so welcome - we cooked in his kitchen, listened to his wonderful collection of jazz albums, and even went to an Erasmus party that he threw together for us! He said that he has let couchsurfers borrow his car before, and I believe it - never have I witnessed such openness and generosity from a complete stranger. That weekend, and our interactions with our host, gave me a glimpse of what the world could be like if all human interaction came from a place of humility, trust, and compassion.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Gotten away with pulling a New Zealand accent way too many times :)
Teach, Learn, Share
I love baking biscotti, scones, and cupcakes. I could deliver a TED talk on applied Buddhist philosophy. I also wouldn't mind leading a yoga class in your home :)
What I Can Share with Hosts
I baked brownies for my last Airbnb host. And they were delicious.
