Overview
About Me
In order to protect my patients, I can sadly not host until the pandemic is over.
CURRENT MISSION
As of now, my mission is to travel to outer space. Does anyone have a couch there?
ABOUT ME
Born in Reykjavík, I soon moved out to København, Denmark, and lived there for a year.
After Denmark, I moved back to Reykjavík, where I began school and music studies. After eight years in Reykjavík, my path lay to Kópavogur where I was until recently.
Here, I became a social person and met my first livetime friends. I also started practicing athletics, in which I am now a triple national champion for my age group(Triple jump 2007, 2008, 2009).
After studying medicine at University of Iceland, I have moved to Denmark.
I am said to be a quite peculiar person, as I have a way of speaking a bit anciently. That applies for English as well as Icelandic. I am eccentric and if I have a second out of anyones sight, I may disappear into the nearest tree.
Lastly, I am not exactly the guy who has a trillion ideas for introducing guests to the land and it's inhabitants as I am fairly new here myself, so do bring your own.
PHILOSOPHY
Vera góður við náungann, svo hann hafi hvata til að vera góður við mig.
To be kind to others, in order that they are motivated to be kind to me.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Sadly, I haven't had much experience based on the CouchSurfing program, but that is subject to change sooner than later.
Interests
This field won't work for me, because I take interest in anything I participate in, except, of course, if it is unusually boring.
- cooking
- traveling
- music
- languages
- medicine
Music, Movies, and Books
Generally, I'm not into televised media, whether it be on TV or in a movie theater. My taste in music is everbroadening, but Symphonies are sure to make a hit.
My opinion on books, then, is that everyone should read the Icelandic sagas. They are the best. I also love some foreign literature, such as Harry Potter, and The Lord of the Rings. Those I read over and over again. Furthermore, I am strangely fond of accessible science magazines - as well as not that accessible ones.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I can see some people, that others can not see: Elves & Hidden people of Iceland.
Teach, Learn, Share
I have a great base of Icelandic that I'd like to exchange with a base of another language.
Except for learning languages, I am very keen of learning how to cook (though I am not a good one).
Countries I’ve Visited
