About Me

I'm an open minded and curious guy.
Just finished my bachelor and I'm looking forward to travel again.
I'm really chill and easy going. I like to find things to do together, but I also really enjoy to be alone together. I like when you can work a project and your friends on theirs, then you ask each other for help or show something cool, and when you're done with that you both go back to working on your things :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm here because I like to connect the world more. I like the way couchsurfing works, that you really have to opportunity to show or be showed a more local perspective of life. Travelling can easy become superficial if you don't interact with locals and get to know their way of life and their way of seeing the place you are at.
Couchsurfing is really good for getting a peak into another world :)
And I love that it makes travelling possible for people even when then don't have a massive amount of money.

Interests

Well, with my bachelor in humanities, you might have guessed that humans interests me. If you didn't I can tell you that they do ;)
I'm interested and care about everything and since humans have such a big effect on our whole Mother Earth I wanted to know more about how we work, which led me to philosophy and psychology.
I have always loved animals and I haven't been eating meat for almost 10 years now. All living beings have a special place in my heart.
Lately I started to explore my creative sides more again and I have taken up learning to make music, both acoustic guitar both also electronic music on the computer.
I'm also really interested in sustainable living. Being raised in the city I feel disconnected from many things in my everyday life. I don't see the plants that my fruits and vegetables come from, if somethings breaks you buy a new thing you don't fix it. This disconnection have given raise to an increase will and inclination towards learning more about how to build stuff yourself, plant your own garden and so on. I like to get more in contact with my own life and my sorroundings.

Music, Movies, and Books

My music taste, like most peoples, is vary. I like chill music like Bon Iver and Sigur Ros, I can also enjoy going to a tranceparty and listen to the different trancegenres during the night, I like many kinds of electronic music like chillstep and even more chill an ambient music. My favourite band at the time is Tycho I wont even try to explain but listen to the album Dive or Awake and tell me how you feel ;)

Of books; I like a lot to read alternative/eastern philosophy. Lately I found myself liking Alan Watts a lot. He speaks to me in a special way and understands the different dilemmas I can see myself in in life. I also like authors like Paulo Coelho, I think he is a very talented writer and he has some nice messages in his books.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In the summer I went to the forest of Sweden with my friends dog as my only companion. We sat up camp and stayed on a hilltop together for a week until fullmoon.
It was a challenging and interesting experience to spend so long without human interaction. Just me, natura and my beautiful dog friend Salta.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you a little of guitar. And as I progress with the music making on the computer I will be able to give some teachings in that.

If you want to know about yoga or meditation, both practical stuff and theoretical/philosophical I have a broad knowledge in these areas.

What I Can Share with Hosts

My beautiful soul and character plus what I wrote in the Teach, Learn and Share section.
I can also cook delicious vegan food ;)
