Hi guys and galls! I'm Kjeld, a medical professional from the Netherlands. The travel bug got into me a few years ago and it hasn't left. During my travels I have been hosted by some amazing people and now its my turn to host! I'm an active and most of the time extroverted person. If i've got the time I would love to show you around in my city or go out for drinks in the evening.

I live a busy life with shifts. So depending on my work schedule i might not be the best host. Most of the Time i've got weekends off so if i'm in town i can show you around and be a bit of a local guide :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love to get to know local people, they are the best sources of information when you travel. Getting to know people around the world makes a person a wiser and beter person I believe. I hope I'll be able to host some people in the future in our beautifull city in Maastricht

Books: the hunger games, maze runnen, game of thrones, All THE BOOKS BY TOLKIEN, Harry Potter and lots more.

Movies: well I can't list it here, but the more you have to think the better!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Travelling through the outback in Australia. I can't describe it but it was just amazing, I will never forget that trip!
I worked on a scuba diving boat for 6 days. These were some of the most intense working days of my life, getting up at 05:45am and being busy till 21:30pm with my breaks consisting out of scuba diving, but I abselutely loved it!
