About Me

First things first, I’m very very tall.
I’m 23 years old and I‘m from northern Germany.
I’m currently living in Ireland and working for an IT company for customer support.
I make a killer lasagna, I like playing video games some times, swimming and watching movies and some shows. I consider myself an easy-going person, and I really like spending time with friends.
I enjoy exploring cities together with friends but am super comfortable doing so alone too.

Usually I would prefer a night with a good conversation in a bar to a night club but am down to make a fool of myself on the dance floor.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think that visiting a city and meeting with locals is a whole different experience than to stay in a hostel or hotel. It makes it possible to get the vibe of the city and the people living there without the extreme filter of being a tourist. As I have worked before in Hotels it is no option for me to just book a Hotel and stay in there for the full stay, this would waste an unique opportunity to meet new and interesting people.

I did not stay with other people yet, but through the account of my housemate we already had people over in Ireland, it is nice to give people a chance to show the places that usually a tourist would not find.

Music, Movies, and Books

- I like different genres of music and movies, depending on the mood and situation and ranging from Queen over AC/DC to German Hip Hop and Rap. Electronic music always appreciated too, if the vibe fits.

- I love going to watch movies, also very different genres. For a normal evening with the friends on the couch something comedic and easy is nice, or something more intense like Shawshank Redemtion or similar.

- Generally I used to read a lot of fictional books, which reduced over the time, so now I read maybe 1 -2 books per year and more political topics.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went skiing in the mountains in the morning, got off the mountain and grabbed a few beer and went hiking along a river. I took a shower in a waterfall, which had about 3 C° as it was molten snow. I had a heavy cold afterwards but the freedom was totally worth it!

Teach, Learn, Share

It is hard to think of something that you can actively share, like I am always happy to bring something from Ireland, but what is actually meant is my thoughts and point of view on something that might be burning on your soul and needs to be talked about.

What I Can Share with Hosts

a load of memes, really good conversations (but how can we measure that it was good actually?), a stupid sense of humor, a good breakfast, I can always reach the top shelf if you need something haha.

Countries I’ve Visited

Denmark, France, Italy, Netherlands, Poland, Switzerland, Turkey
