ABOUT ME

I am an adventurous scientist-to-be who likes traveling and partying as much as museums.
I am open minded, down-to-earth, adventurous, spontaneous and I like to meet new people. At first I might be a bit conservative (especially in new groups), but if you take the time to get to know me you'll see that I can be pretty crazy.
I am interested in music (favorable rock, like Rise Against & Johnny Cash), good movies (Braveheart, the invention of lying)and I like to do various things in my free time. These reach from swimming, carving wood reliefs, jogging, concerts, party, cinema, friends to traveling; especially on non-tourist routes and of course I love mother nature.

PHILOSOPHY

Live your life, never regret, don't let someone else determine what you can or can't do!
Logic brings you from A to B, but imagination brings you anywhere!
Just have a great time without loosing life-goals! Oh ... and most importantly: Have aims in live and work in them!!!

- Crossing the Pyrenees in Winter was amazing and terrifying -> being known as "The crazy German" on the Camino de Santiago :D
- Having a weapon in my face in Israel
- Swimming/ Floating in the Dead Sea
- Sitting on the edge of the Grand Canyon

I am willing to teach English, Biology (especially Molecular Biology), but I wouldn't term myself as an expert ... I am most willing to share opinions on genetic engineered food/ organisms and why we don't need to be terrified about it. Believe me, we as human beings have done this on a more terrifying level for thousands of years!
I would like to learn languages and more about different cultures.It is always inspiring how one can has a different view of the world, if he/ she grew up in a different part of our earth.
I like to share my couch, opinions, experiences and of course a great time together.
