ABOUT ME

I am interested in languages, literature, music, history and religion. Iam myself a spiritual seeker and will jump at any opportunity to discuss anything remotely related to the all-embracing topics mentioned. My favourite book is undoubtedly Sefer Ha-Zohar. I am a huge fan of Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan.
I am interested in the history of Africa, India, and the Jews in particular. Professionally, Iam currently writing a thesis in medical anthropology on social aspects of overweight amongst adolescents. In my personal life I am the proud father of a fourteen-year old girl who stays with me part time. I delight in this wonderful chance at meeting international brothers and sisters and to form friendships across the globe.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I've seen the ancient walled city of Harar, Ethiopia, where I fed hyenas by hand and buzzards at the camel market; and incurred the wrath of radicals on the street late at night (only to part with an embrace!) Never a dull moment in the King's own Town!
