As a former globetrotter now relatively settled in a small Eastern Cape town I fully empathise with all independent travellers out there. It is wonderful to discover the world on your own but hard at times too, so my house is always open to freewheeling spirits needing shelter.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have both hosted and surfed and Im not exaggerating when I say it has been a 100% positive experience. I am yet to meet any loonies or unsympathetic people through couchsurfing. everyone I have hosted and surfed with have been genuinely nice people

Interessen

To feel that I am truly living I have to be out in nature, to feel that I am truly thinking I have to be intellectually challenged. Hence I enjoy most outdoor activities and cant live without a good discussion or a good book.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

I have swam in glowing phosphorescent water in the Caribbean. I have trekked across Norwegian mountain plateaus on ski. I have been chased by a giraffe in South Africa.. Okay I admit it, those were three things but dont want to discriminate any region in the world when it comes to experiences..
