Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love meeting new people and hearing their stories. There's something especially lovely about people welcoming you into their home. You get to see first-hand how they live and I think that is such an unique experience!

Music, Movies, and Books

I am a huge fan of the Killers! I love all the LOTR movies, Back to the Future, any film with Tom Hanks, anything directed by Joe Wright, and Star Wars. In terms of books, one of my favorites is Memoirs of a Geisha. I also really enjoy the writings of Henning Mankell.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went skiing in the Austrian Alps in January! Never in a million years did I think I would ever be capable of something like that. It was one of the most enjoyable vacations I've ever had. I learned so much and I'm already planning on skiing in Aspen when I get back to the states this January.

What I Can Share with Hosts

My life and my experiences! I'm sure that they want to get to know other people from different cultures, just like I do, which is why they signed up for couch surfing! My family is originally from Hawaii so that's probably my favorite subject to talk about :)
