About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To see the world the way it is

ABOUT ME

I am 20 years old, and like to think of myself as well traveled but I know there is so much I haven't seen yet.
I am American, but not rude. I enjoy meeting new people from far away places, but I am far from intrusive or overeager.
I make an excellent pen-pal and use smiley's far too often. :)

PHILOSOPHY

There is nothing more important in life than to be constantly aware. Awareness engenders action, but you don't necessarily have to be aware to act. Be aware and balance.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I would love to host someone, but right now, my house is bursting with people at every moment. Perhaps when things calm down, I can open up the couch to someone new and exciting. As of yet, I am planning a 6-week backpacking trip two months from now, so I'm looking for somewhere to crash for a couple of those days.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am new to couchsurfing :)

Interests

I like Historical Fiction novels and television shows my Joss Whedon. I love kittens and have raised quite a few.
I enjoy travel by train and am, though not deathly, afraid of flying (especially in those really small shaky planes).
I enjoy all sorts of literature, though I'm picky.
I also enjoy building blanket forts.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I once saw a boy slice the top off a champagne bottle with a rapier the size of my body. This was New Years in my home town. Other than the excellent architecture in all of the places i've visited, i'd say I have some amazing things yet to see.

Teach, Learn, Share

I know how to knit and crochet and do so often. I guess my most powerful bit of wisdom is just common sense.

Countries I’ve Visited

Canada, France, Italy, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In
