Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To live life to the fullest, even though that sounds cliche...
ABOUT ME
I am very easy-going and interested in experiencing all that I can in life. After living and traveling abroad for more than 2 years, I have changed a lot; I'm more independent and spontaneous, and really like the person I am becoming.
PHILOSOPHY
Be curious about everything.
Never say no to a new experience.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Tried staying a few places on my recent backpacking trip in Central America but it didn't always work... I was frustrated when many people didn't write back at all. I've hosted quite a few people since I've been home but am not able to right now.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
One host that did work out was a Hare Krishna farm outside of Medellin, Colombia. We volunteered with them in return for room and board, and our work included painting flowers and butterflies all over the property. Then we sang the Hare Krishna song a billion times and ate delicious vegetarian food.

Music, Movies, and Books
Any bootleg DVD that costs $1! Or stuff I find on Netflix
depends on my mood - acoustic, hip-hop, reggae, rock and reggaeton. I also love listening to interesting podcasts.
I have realized lately I like non-fiction books a lot, with some fiction every now and then to break it up.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Peace Corps. Every day I can't believe that I got paid for that.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can help others practice speaking Spanish.
I want to learn about everything.
I can share my backpacking money saving tips.
