About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Exploration to the highest degree!
ABOUT ME
I am a teacher, in the occupational sense, most recently teaching English in South Korea, and am doing my best to check out the various corners of the globe. I studied for one semester at the University of Amsterdam, so that allowed me to check out much of central, a little bit of Eastern, and a smattering of northern Europe. In Asia I've lived in Seoul for a year, and traveled to Tokyo and Mongolia. So there you have my traveling experience, which mostly means I can tell you the relative cost of booze in those locales.
It's hip to say you don't want to see famous/historical sites, so: I want to see some of them, but I mostly want to meet people who love talking about all facets of our existence, want to listen to music of all varieties, and share whatever they like of their culture. Oh, and local food and substances are always a curious culinary treat!
PHILOSOPHY
In a few quotes:
"Life gushing all around."
"I think that people are the greatest fun."
"If one is forever cautious, can one remain a human being?"
"All you need is love."
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I intend to make my couch available when I am not traveling, but enjoy some enlivening and mutually excellent times while surfing on other people's couches.
