ABOUT ME

I'm an 18 year old girl living in Chorzów, near Katowice in Silesia. I'm still in high school but it doesn't stop me from making my dream, which is travelling wherever possible, come true. ;) I'm pretty open-minded and understanding but I possess low tolerance for plain stupidity and thoughtlessness... I'm very outspoken and I can't spend an hour without talking and laughing. :)
I live by the rule - if someone's nice to me, I'm nice to them.

PHILOSOPHY

To always wear a smile on my face and self-confidence within is the most important thing in life, as well as sharing positive energy and never giving up!

I'd like to surf in some of the countries I'm willing to visit and maybe host somebody in the future.

Obviously travelig and getting to know new people and cultures; onstage musicals; foreign languages and linguistics; music - that includes pretty much everything but I have a thing for ska and the 80s' timeless hits :) ;books - I'm a huge bookworm; French cinema; History

Música, películas y libros

Books: pretty much everything that's fairly readable. However I have to say that i judge by the cover... and the font, too. It's physically impossible for me to read a book written in small font :) My favourite authors include Eric-Emmanuel Schmitt and recently also Haruki Murakami. But I've grown up reading Harry Potter and the Chronicles of Narnia over and over again...

Music: My favorite genres are ska (Madness! and newer bands like Less Than Jake and Reel Big Fish and Ska-P...) and electronic music and I also love the 80s' hits, as I've already mentioned, and music from musicals. :)

Movies: Mainly dramas, comedies and musicals (surprise), I hate action movies and horrors! I also like to watch some fantasy once in a while.
I love the French cinema and their outstanding sense of humour! As well as the British one. Monty Python and other classic comedies are some of my favorite tv series of all time.
I also watch a lot of "newer" TV series, i.e. Doctor Who, HIMYM, The Big Bang Theory etc.

I've worked as an au-pair in France and SURVIVED with 4 spoiled children... :)
I've been a volunteer several times and worked with disabled children
I've seen almost all of the musical at the local musical theatre in Chorzów and I have to say were all simply magnificent :)

I can help you out with any language that I know and you have problems with, I'd also like to get help if I need some. :)
When I was younger I used to draw manga so maybe I could help as well - or have someone evaluate my drawings... ;)
