ABOUT ME

I'm Klaas Kelchtermans. A young Belgian guy that, as for the most of CS people, loves to travel. Right now I'm traveling across Europe with my girlfriend Annelies after a 6months travel in Asia. We both just graduated from university, and we thought this is the perfect moment for a 9 month trip before starting the 'adult' life. After some hitch hike trips, I'm convinced that it is very important to talk with local people if you're interested in a foreign country. You get to know the current troubles, the stuff their proud of, etc. Both of us also went on erasmus, and this experience made us more open minded and more confident to go a bit further in exploring the world. And Couchsurfing is an amazing way to do this.

PHILOSOPHY

What I want is a varied life with lots of open, honest happiness.

For now, I would say both, because of my lack of CS experience. Maybe surfing is more interesting, because of the fact that I'm not that often at home, so hosting could be difficult.

I have a very wide interest of genres in music.

As an instructor in Youth work, seeing youngsters change in a positive way during a one week course.

While wondering off the path alone, meeting a rattle snake ready to attack in a small cavern.

Have a great experience with starting a band, making songs, fine tuning them, till you are confident enough to go on stage in different bars in Europe (Hamburg, Amsterdam, Leuven).
