I'm an energetic optimist who craves real connections with fellow engaged human beings. I love to laugh!
I want to spend my days reading, writing, and collaborating with others to develop new ideas about how to work together in this ever-shrinking world.

PHILOSOPHY

This planet that we inhabit is old, very very old, and we humans are only a small blip along that vast time scale. The essential insignificance of our existence provides us each individually with a choice: to do nothing or to try anything. The only significant contribution we make is to the lives of the people around us -- so we must support each other, value our common humanity, and strive to make this world better for all.

I've had wonderful experiences hosting couchsurfers! Soon I'll be surfing, too! And, most importantly, making connections with amazing people who I wouldn't have ever known otherwise.

Interests

I'm an avid reader who tends to take on too many books at the same time. Playing music with others is high up on my list of fun activities, as is running around outside (chasing a ball or not). I love cooking, friends, and lively conversation. And I'm interested in doing all I can to make this world a better place for more people...
