I'm a recent graduate of Grinnell College (2016) and I've been incredibly luck to have made friends all over the world in these past few years of my life. Traveling to keep these meaningful and lifelong connections is important to me as well as making new ones along the way. This network of hosts makes this easier and more possible amongst the many stresses and logistics of travel.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

With the popularity of Air bnb's there comes the drawback of using this company: real estate agents rent out apartments which unfairly drives the prices up for local tenants. Not to mention their past troubles with racial profiling by their hosts. Couchsurfing's reputation is set in not so large of a capitalist venture, which any fair individual can appreciate.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've helped build an natural earthen home in 2016 while staying at the Dancing Rabbit Ecovillage. This community helped me learn to lay brick, and improve my knowledge of permaculture gardening

Teach, Learn, Share

One of my favorite skills I've shared with other close friends is my passion for cooking! If you wanna learn a few choice comfort foods or dishes I'm your girl. I've cooked for large numbers of people and am used to accommodating food allergies and vegan needs. It is my belief that community is most closely built in the collective atmosphere of a dinner table, were all can share spirit and empathy.
