About Me

HELLAS!

I am a dancer, so even there is a place Inlive in, I never know where I will be. If a job comes up I will go there for the days it lasts, if there are some sponeous clases or workshops i will also be away so.... Can't compromise to say yes to hosting if it's not in a close future.

The covid situation is still a bit...difficult, so I haven't been using CS for a long time....
Right now I am living in Lekeitio, not Bilbao (but like an hour from there), with my cat O'mally.

I had my first passport made before I was one and I've been traveling ever since (for family mostly). I like to get lost in cities and places I don't know, explore around, hearing different languages, different cultures...Normally I travel alone and I really enjoy journey, mostly if it's by train, because... I like trains!

I'm an active person and I like practicing sports like climbing, swimming, skiing, hiking...(WARNING: doesn't mean I'm good at it)

I'm a dancer, again. I like all kinds of dance styles but I could say I am a contemporary dancer with a jazz dancer's heart (so jazz was what I started with and discovered my passion for it). So it's no wonder I love musicals and I like not only dramatic but all kinds of art.

In my spare time I draw, play the guitar (at least try, I'm still learning), bake something, do a paper boats race in the river, inventing jokes (still not very good at that), inventing a way of turning broken things into something useful...I like doing experiments and trying new things!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

A friend of mine who likes to travel as much as I do recommended it to me.
He viajado bastante y me gusta mucho, pero aquí, además, tengo la opción de conocer gente de distintos sitios y culturas.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like all kinds of music from classical music to alternative rock, jazz, blues, pop... I don't think there is an artist from which I like everything but there are soooooo many from which I really like sometimes just a few songs and others almost everything (but NEVER everything.... yet). Some of the groups/musicians I like are: Radiohead (love it), REM, Norah Jones, Ella Fitzgerald, Mozart, Tracy Chapman, Nirvana, Led Zeppellin, Queen, Glaukoma.... It really changes a lot depending on the day and the mood I'm feeling.

I like to read but I haven't read much because I take my time with every book. But I don't have a favourite genre, it also depends on the mood I'm feeling. That's why I usually have two very different books to read at the same time. It's the same with films, but I have to mention Amélie; it may not be the best, but it's special to me.
And about TV series, there's one in particular of which I'm a bit of a freak, and that serie is......Mr. Monk

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Couple of summers ago, I took a flight to Venezia, spent the day there, exploring around with my notebook and my backpack. After I got lost and found several times, I took the sleeper train to Austria. I woke up the next morning in Linz and spend almost all day taking different trains, watching through the window, walking through the corridors until I arrived to a teeny tiny beautiful village called Weyer.

Anyway, if you want to know something actually amazing...
Once, I just came out of work at night, so I ran to take the last subway home. When I was in the train station, I realized I lost the train so went back up. Funny thing, they already closed the station. So there I was, behind the metal bars, like in a cage. I saw this old lady outside and called her for help. "Try to go out from the other side" she said. So back down in. Now the lights were off. Pass the ticket to go to the other side (yes, I had to pay for that) and realize that it was all for nothing as it was also closed. Elevator didn't work.
I was locked with 1% battery on the phone so I started looking for a magic button or something. Ifound "the secret button" hidden. Pressed it. The lights turned on -_-
Finally I got out, turned out to be easier than what I thought...hehe

Teach, Learn, Share

I can share the secret of how I got out from the subway station. (don't get your hopes high)
Or I can cook you some delicious palatschinken (like pancakes), the famous tortilla de patata, bizcocho... I like backing mostly.

I like to learn about anything when it's shown with passion, that's why I find it always interesting when people talk about what they love.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I could make a Tortilla if you let me or palatschinken or a bizcocho. Even if im not the best, Im not bad at it B-)
