About Me
Hi all :)
I'm Klara, 18y from Vienna. I love movies, art and foreign food. My free time I usually spend going out with friends, going to the cinema/museum, travelling. Occasionally i force myself to the do the necessary walk to the fitnessstudio, but i am not really big on sports. I like boxing, surfing and dancing but i am not particularly good at any of these three :) (trying to improve though). I easily find joy in little things in life like sunsets, midnight swims, hikes through beautiful landscapes and unexpected surprises.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Because i love to meet new people, make connections, learn something about different cultures/countries/interests. It's also a good way to really experience a place/city. i mean who doesn't prefer tips from locals over travelguides.
Interests
- contemporary art
- photography
- movies

- indie rock
Music, Movies, and Books
takes a three hour conversation or my whole playlist/bookshelf to possibly fathom that, but i'll try: I'm a big movie buff so i watch almost every genre ( has to show some depth and/or skill though) best directors: kubrick, tarantino, scorsese, nolan, fincher, copola, godart, lynch, allen. I mostly listen to old music: 20ies jazz, 60ies everything, 80ies pop, 90ies rock. From the 21st century it's mostly indierock. I have a huge readinglist of classics i have to work off, because my literature lessons in school were non-existent, thanks to my teacher. but i always gladly accept recommendations from other people.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Couldn't decide on one thing so here are my top 5:
flew in a helicopter
jumped off a bridge into a river at midnight
celebrated my birthday on a plane and a cruiseship
baked the perfect caramel chocolate cake
managed to stand up on a surfboard( amazing for me because i have the worst sense of balance one could ever imagine)
What I Can Share with Hosts
Infromations about my country, its language and its culture. If you like to cook and crave some authentic autrian cuisine i could definitely show you some recipes as well. I can do a cartwheel and know how to fold 10 different origami animals(if that doesn't sound convincing what does?). I'd also love to share : Thoughts, Experiences, wannabe-wisdom..... just my view of the world.
